Although we honor Martial Arts traditions that go back centuries, we are dynamic and are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to enthuse and excite our students.

Winding River Karate Studio was the first Tang Soo Do School in the Southern Tier of NY and Northeastern PA, opening in 1974. We have been certified under the present owner by the US Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc since 1977.

Students from other schools of Tang Soo Do have experienced a very smooth transition to Winding River. We understand that there could be challenges for students who transfer. We are willing to help with these challenges.

We have classes during the days and evenings that you can visit. Please call ahead to let us know you are coming. As a certified studio for over 33 years of the US Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. we can assure you that if you choose to train at Winding River we will be here for you for as long as you need us.
